In every election cycle, I’m sure to hear the same comment about the Republican and Democrat candidates, “Is this really the best we have?”

A fixture of modern politics is the idea that a majority of Americans don’t like anyone who runs. For some reason, this season of our discontent finds that mass disapproval for the two candidates nominated by the major parties. This remains true going into 2024 when a majority of people don’t like the two front runners Donald Trump or Joe Biden.

As it stands today, both are severely underwater.
