In my last two non-newsletter posts, I mapped out my predictions for both the House and Senate. Seeing that I don’t have a crystal ball however, there’s always a chance that I could be wrong. There’s always a possibility that Republicans could have a much bigger wave than I anticipate or that Democrats engage enough voters to avoid disaster.
So here’s an easy guide of how you can tell how Republicans are doing in real time as votes begin to come in on election night. A simple and easy hour-by-hour playbook to figure out how big the red wave will be or if the GOP has hit a giant blue wall.
The first state to come in on every general election night is always the same, Indiana and Kentucky… not exactly the big two. They close at 6pm but you’ll have to wait till 7pm EST to start seeing signs, so here goes:
