More Data to Prove It Could Be
There have been several news stories floating around the internet and cable news that Trump’s immigration policies are so effective that immigration will hit net negative numbers for the first time in decades. He has undoubtedly managed to close Biden-era loopholes, like the CHNV lottery, and border crossings are at historic lows, with virtually no one being released into the United States.
Still, ICE hasn’t been able to deport nearly as many people as Trump promised during the campaign, and the Administration has denied that Stephen Miller’s 3,000 deportations per day was a quota set in stone.
Despite the fallbacks, we have heard from basically every media outlet in existence that illegal aliens, especially those who arrived in the last five years, have been making arrangements to self-deport.
