Migrant encounters at the southern border hit an all-time high of 302,000 in December. More than 785,000 migrant encounters have been reported since the beginning of the fiscal year on Oct. 1 — the highest first-quarter total ever recorded. (Fox News)
The state of Utah is now offering taxpayer-funded health insurance to children who arrived illegally in the United States. Only seven state legislators and three state senators opposed the bill, signed by the liberal Republican governor Spencer Cox. (Breitbart News)
Biden’s Department of Justice is asking the Supreme Court to permit Border Patrol agents to cut razor wire at the U.S. border with Mexico that Texas officials constructed to prevent migrant crossings. The Governor responded by stating he plans to sue the Biden Administration. (Axios)
New York City has announced that they’re suing 17 bus companies from the state of Texas for bringing 33,000 migrants to the city. They’re asking the courts for $708 million in damages. It’s ironic since Mayor Adams said just a few years ago that migrants were always a net benefit to the city. African migrants spoke to The Daily Mail about how they were sold a false bill of goods about what life in America would be like. They said they are sleeping on the streets as New York has hit their capacity and claim that life in Africa is better than living in America, but they have no means to return home.
