Immigration
Internal documents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) obtained by The Daily Caller found that the government agency is undercounting the number of illegal aliens released into the country without tracking technology by more than 18,000 percent. ICE’s alternative to detention program created by the Bush Administration releases illegal aliens into the US with tracking devices. However, ICE disclosed to the attendees that 49,459 illegal aliens aren’t monitored with any tracking equipment as of Nov. 14th, while its own website says there are 266 as of Nov. 19th.
Fox News reported that more than 73,000 illegal immigrants evaded Border Patrol in November, marking the highest number ever recorded at the southern border. The number of gotaways for November means that there are already over 137,000 gotaways so far this fiscal year, which began in October. In FY2022, there were nearly 600,000 gotaways. There were 389,155 gotaways at the border in FY2021.
Newly elected GOP House Whip Tom Emmer is announcing his support for The Eagle Act, a massive visa giveaway to Fortune 500 companies. The bill is an iteration of the Fairness for High-Skilled Immigrants Act that was passed last year, which eliminates per-country caps on employment-based visas and raise per-country caps for family-based visas to 15 percent this benefits countries with high population like India and China. There have been “two major security incidents” on domestic, commercial flights with no Federal Air Marshals on board because President Biden has redirected so many to facilitate illegal immigration at the U.S.-Mexico border. On November 11, 2022, a man boarded a Frontier flight 1761 with two box cutters. The man threatened to stab the passengers and crew and had to be subdued by other passengers. Another man was allowed to board JetBlue flight 871 with a small-edged weapon. The suspect placed the edged weapon to the throat of at least one passenger. Air Marshal National Council President David Londo wrote in a letter this week to Biden’s top officials, including DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, “your policy of forcing Federal Air Marshals to deploy to the southern border is extremely concerning given the time of year and the recent incidents of violence on American flagged aircraft.” (Breitbart News)
President Biden has more than doubled the size of the eligible population qualified for Temporary Protective Status, which is rarely temporary. Almost 1 million people are in the country from around the globe because their country is deemed too dangerous to return to. This is a backdoor amnesty and needs to be ended under the next Republican President.
2024
Republicans have some good news in the state of Wisconsin. The far-left green party, which often attracts Bernie Sanders-style Democrats, has officially made it onto the state’s ballot for 2024, according to WisPolitics. The party received 31,000 votes in Wisconsin in 2016 but was not on the ballot as the Green Party in 2020 when Biden won the state by 20,000 votes.
Biden has announced that the list of primary states will change from the tradition of Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada, and South Carolina. The new schedule will be South Carolina, New Hampshire, Nevada, Georgia, and Michigan. This change is small but important. Black voters in the Democrat Party - which make up the majority of primary voters in South Carolina and Georgia are the most establishment. In 2016, Bernie, for example, only received 26 and 28 percent in those states, respectively. In 2020, Bernie and Warren received 27 percent. By getting rid of Iowa and pushing South Carolina and Georgia’s dates up, Biden and Democrats are hurting progressive’s chances of winning the nomination in 2024 or the future. (HuffPost)
