As the Canadian economy continues to cratered due to Justin Trudeau's open-border policy, immigration from Canada to the U.S. is hitting record highs. The ACS, conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau, says the number of people moving from Canada to the U.S. hit 126,340 in 2022. That's an increase of nearly 70 percent over the 75,752 people who made the move in 2012. Of the 126,340 who emigrated from Canada to the U.S. that year, 53,311 were born in Canada, 42,595 were Americans who left here for their native land, and 30,434 were foreign-born immigrants to Canada who decided to move to the U.S. instead.

A DHS Inspector General report found that DHS has not been monitoring humanitarian parole expiration for the roughly 77,000 Afghans brought into the US for 2-year paroles after the withdrawal in 2021. Additionally, the IG found only 3 Afghan parolees were deported from the US between July 2021 and December 2022—one for "terrorism-related activity," one for murder, and one for abusive sexual contact. The report finds that DHS has no process or component whatsoever for monitoring parole expiration for Afghan parolees or any humanitarian parole recipients in general. According to the report, no agency has been monitoring any of the 400,000 migrants released in the U.S. on humanitarian parole status expirations. So that would make nearly half a million people in this country that Joe Biden flew in who could be on expired parole, and no one has any idea.
