Immigration
The Biden administration said it would transform the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program (DACA), which provides deportation protections to more than 600,000 young illegal immigrants in the country known as Dreamers, into a federal regulation to strengthen it against legal challenges. (The Wall Street Journal) This will be immediately challenged by a Republican AG and thrown into the courts. I highly doubt the changes will stand.
Latino voters show little interest in immigration expansion amid rising inflation and crimes, according to a July-August survey of 2,540 registered Latino voters by two pro-migration advocacy groups. “Immigration reforms” were ranked as the twelfth most important issue after inflation, crime, the economy, healthcare, abortion, rent, and schools. Cuban migrants are arriving in the U.S. at the highest rate since Fidel Castro came to power in 1959, fleeing political repression and the island’s worst economic crisis in more than three decades. More than 175,000 Cuban migrants were apprehended in the U.S. between last October and July, six times as many as in the previous 12-month period, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The Big Apple could be on the hook for more than $300 million per year to provide shelter space in hotels for newly arrived migrants, New York Post analysis shows. City officials have either rented or announced plans to secure roughly 5,800 hotel rooms over the last month in response to the influx from the southern border, which quickly overwhelmed the already-strained homeless shelter system. Due to the COVID lockdowns and rising crime, New York has seen billions leave the city. If the rate of migrants coming to the city continues at the same pace, it will bankrupt entire city departments and they’ll become reliant on federal aid. BE SMART: the narrative by the media and Democrats from New York are placing the blame on Governor Abbot for busing the migrants, not Biden for allowing them to enter the US.
A Democrat linked groups including the SEIU union and the National Partnership for New Americans claimed to have naturalized 100,000 new immigrants in the state of Georgia since 2016. They believe this new voter bloc will be strong enough to keep the Georgia Senate seat Democratic. (Breitbart News) Imagine that, using immigration as a tool for Democrats to win elections. The media calls that a conspiracy theory and they admit it out in the open.
