The Arlington, Virginia County Board voted to prohibit police officers from operating with Immigration and Customs Enforcement even when the illegal alien has been identified as a member of a gang, is wanted or arrested for a violent felony, is arrested for human trafficking, or is arrested for a terrorism offense. This is how Donald Trump can win: he’s able to make liberals lose their minds to the degree that they defend illegal aliens who are wanted for violent offenses, human trafficking, and terrorism. The Supreme Court ruled in a 7-2 decision that theTrump administration will not be allowed to deport a group of Venezuelan detainees accused of being members of a violent gang under a rarely invoked wartime law while the matter is litigated in the courts, the Supreme Court. This is not to be confused with whether Trump’s use of the Alien Enemies Act is unconstitutional, just that they can’t continue to deport people while the courts are handling the case. NBC News reported that the U.S. is working on negotiations with Libya to resettle up to one million Palestinians in the country. Just a month ago, however, Libya denied that they were willing to accept any Palestinians. The plan seems messy at best. The incentive for Libya is that the U.S. would unfreeze billions of dollars in aid from a decade ago and would possibly offer a financial incentive to Palestianians who resettle. The problem with Libya is that it’s a failed state and would be a prime destination for Palestianians looking to make their way to Europe. It would also likely cost American taxpayers billions of dollars. Another possible location to resettle Palestianians is Syria, which would be close to Israel.
