A Biden-appointed federal district judge ruled that the Trump Administration must resettle 12,000 refugees into the U.S., striking down part of the President’s executive order to halt the refugee admissions program. The judge said that the executive order effectively nullifies congressional will. The administration will appeal this case to the Ninth Circuit. (Fox News)
Congressmen Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL), Suhas Subramanyam (D-VA), and Rich McCormick (R-GA) have urged the State Department to permanently expand the domestic renewal process for H-1B and other low-risk visa categories. This would be a big boost to Indian migrants. If Sec. Rubio follows through, the process would allow the 20,000 H-1b holders to renew their visas without returning to their native country, thus making them more permanently rooted here. (India West)
The Republican controlled state House of Representatives in Texas is considering a bill to create a temporary guest worker program for laborers from Mexico. The bill, authored by Democrat State Rep. Ray Lopez, would authorize the governor to seek federal approval to implement a state-run guest worker program. If approved by the federal government, the governor could then enter into a memorandum of understanding with Mexico to facilitate the migration of legal temporary workers to Texas under U.S. nonimmigrant visas. Meanwhile, other bills to enforce immigration law, including the implementation of e-verify and ending in-state tuition for illegal aliens, have not been given a date to vote. (Texas Scorecard)

The Trump Administration is set to fly their first set of Afrikaner refugees to the United States for resettlement. A total of 54 Afrikaners targeted by their nation’s government will fly to the United States on a chartered flight. Remember, their president is supporting a law that would allow the government to seize white people’s land without any compensation. President Trump and Sec. Rubio has criticized the law and cut off all foreign aid to South Africa. (The New York Times)
