Republican Congressmen have signed a letter demanding government agencies, including FEMA and EFSP, request a full accounting for all taxpayer-funded grants awarded to NGOs who move migrants and illegal aliens into the interior of the U.S. (Breitbart News)

House Democrats and Republicans, including Reps. Mike Lawler, Lori Chavez-DeRemer, and María Elvira Salazar have cosponsored a bill that offers millions of illegal aliens an amnesty, streamlines but doesn’t help end the asylum crisis at the border, and doubles the number of green cards. If it becomes law (which will not happen), the only enforcement measure is passing e-Verify. This bill will cause another huge run on the border as millions of illegals would perceive they can get citizenship. (The Wall Street Journal)

Mayor Eric Adams asked a judge for permission to relieve New York City of its obligation to provide shelter for anyone who asks because of the migrant crisis. There are currently more than 40,000 migrants in the city. Mayor Adams will spend $4.3 billion through June 2024 and will likely exceed that number. Experts have told me they don’t expect Adams to get his way. (The New York Times)

Federal agents arrested four illegal aliens with a loaded firearm and a stash of narcotics Sunday along Montana’s border with Canada. (Daily Caller)

Breitbart News reported that Master Lock is set to close its factory in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, next year with plans to outsource over 400 American employees’ jobs. The company was founded in Milwaukee 102 years ago.

The Washington Free Beacon reported Seattle’s promotional exams for firefighters now test candidates on their knowledge of “woke” by authors like Ibram Kendi and Robin DiAngelo—the Lieutenant exam tests ~800 pages of material unrelated to firefighting tactics.

The number of foreign nationals holding jobs in the United States has hit the highest since the Labor Department began tracking the data in 1996 as the employment of native-born Americans declined. The Washington Post reported that the foreign-born share of the labor market hit the highest level in almost 30 years at more than 18 percent, with close to 30 million now holding U.S. jobs.

House Republicans and the White House have reached an ‘agreement in principle’ on the debt limit, but little is known about the details of the newsletter's writing. (Associated Press)
