The Biden administration has released more than 750,000 aliens who cross the border illegally into the United States interior since Biden took office in January 2021, according to Breitbart News. The 756,109 illegal aliens released do not include the over 500,000 illegals who crossed the Southern border without being arrested in 2021, nor the 123,000 unaccompanied alien children that were resettled in the U.S. since the start of Fiscal Year 2021. At the rate we’re going, there will be 9-10 million more people in the US during the end of Biden’s first term, and only a little more than half will have come legally. It’s worth remembering that when you consider the last two presidential elections were decided by less than 100,000 votes.
Border Patrol apprehended 23 people at the Southern border in 2021 whose names were on the terror watchlist, according to Fox News. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) data show that “four were in the Rio Grande Valley Sector, 4 in Del Rio Sector, 3 in El Paso Sector, 2 in Tucson Sector, 2 in Yuma Sector, 4 in El Centro Sector and 4 in San Diego Sector.”
Furthermore, Department of Homeland Security data also indicated that nearly 500 migrants affiliated with gangs had been apprehended at the border, according to the Daily Caller. Of those arrested between January 20, 2021, and January 31, 2022, 479 individuals were affiliated with MS-13.
An illegal alien was arrested for prostituting, trafficking, and sexually assaulting a child in San Antonio, Texas. According to the San Antonio Express-News, Juan Carlos Diaz-De la Cruz, 29, had already been deported more than 15 times before his arrest. Diaz-De la Cruz has also reportedly been linked to a Mexican cartel and was previously involved in human trafficking operations.
According to an Axios report, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro has privately voiced his concern to members of Congress about the Biden Administration’s plans to lift Title 42 on May 23. Mayorkas is also frustrated with the repeal process of Title 42 as well. This comes after Axios reported that President Joe Biden’s inner circle has already begun discussing delaying the repeal of Title 42. Democrats are becoming increasingly aware that the border and immigration are going to be huge electoral disasters for them in the midterms, what they don’t realize is that by ignoring the issue and letting it manifest into a crisis will force Republicans to embrace a stronger more nationalist position on the border. The next GOP President contest is going to sound a lot stronger than it did in 2016.
