Fox News reported that 220,000 illegal aliens evaded border patrol since October. Illegal aliens who do not come into contact with border patrol are called “gotaways.” The most alarming part of this story is that the number comes at a time when illegal immigration tends to be lower because of the number of people no longer attempting to cross the border in the cold winter months. Biden’s open border policy and the promise of amnesty from Republicans and Democrats has become a giant magnet on the border. (Fox News)
The area of Arizona, known as the Yuma Sector, is still reporting more than 1,000 migrants per day entering. The gap has worsened because portions of the border fence were left completely unbuilt by the last two presidential administrations. (Border Report)
Fox News reported that 14 Republican Attorney Generals from Florida, Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Georgia, Indiana, Louisiana, Montana, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, and West Virginia have called on DHS Chief Mayorkas to resign because of his handling of the border.
Prosecutors in Georgia found the man who killed a WRAL employee in a hit-and-run accident, and it turned out he was an illegal alien from Mexico who had previous arrest records under his belt. (WRAL)
Another illegal alien from Mexico was arrested in Florida over the week for sexually assaulting two children under the age of 13. Like the previous case, the alien had a long arrest record but was not deported because of New Jersey’s sanctuary state policies. (MRCTV)
