Marist polling insistence on releasing polls at midnight is ruining my sleep, but they’re incredibly valuable in validating national polls.

Not all pollsters are alike; there's a significant difference between high-quality polls like Marist, New York Times/Siena, NBC, Selzer, The Washington Post, and Noble Insights and low-quality polls like Harris, YouGov, Reuters, and Rasmussen. The high-quality polls have been criticized for showing Trump surging far beyond the margin of error and winning the popular vote even among several key Democratic constituencies like Hispanics and young people.
