I'm not usually one to praise the GOP, but this week I can honestly say I am thankful we're Republicans and not Tories. The writing is on the wall that Prime Minister Liz Truss' government has all but collapsed less than two months after it began. As a result, the UK could soon see its fifth prime minister in either six or seven years, depending on when elections are held. Brexit was supposed to break England free of Europe, but British politics looks more like Italy’s than it does it’s own.
This post explains what's happening in the UK and is mainly directed at my American audience, so you can understand where the country's politics are going and why it matters.
