On this week’s episode of “A Numbers Game with Ryan Girdusky,” I had Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene discuss DOGE, Elon Musk, and how Republicans are trying to tackle the nation’s debt.
Rep. Greene chairs the subcommittee on DOGE, and I asked her about some of DOGE’s findings regarding USAID spending and how Congress needed to provide greater oversight regarding Elon Musk’s conflict of interests. Greene explained how the committee planned to offer spending cuts in Congress, especially in areas of waste, fraud, and abuse that DOGE uncovered. Yet when I asked her about concerns over data, she said she trusted Musk and didn’t see a cause for concern but agreed Congress must provide oversight.
My feelings over DOGE, which has become the only thing basically anyone in the media is talking about, are mixed because I hear what both Republicans and Democrats are saying. I seem to be one of the few because, for the most part, they’re talking past each other.
So here is the good, the bad, and the Elon of it all, as I see it:
