When it was announced that Showtime would be releasing a five part series on the scam Super PAC, The Lincoln Project, I had absolutely no intention of watching. I could already guess the arc of the show, but when a commercial for the project featured my voice when I broke the scandal about the group’s co-founder John Weaver, I figured I’d give it a shot. I’m going to just post briefly about some noticeably stupid things about the show including some lies the lead characters on the show are presenting.

For those of you that don’t know what the Lincoln Project is, I want to congratulate you, you live a much more sane life than myself. The organization was founded in 2019 by former Republican consultants to oppose Trump and the modern GOP. The organization raised more than $90 million and it was later discovered (by yours truly) that one of the co-founders used the organization to prey on young men asking for sexual favors in exchange for jobs at the organization. Later developments discovered that many of the co-founders made millions off the organization and were using it to grift.

So here’s a breakdown of episode one of the Lincoln Project:
