As a baby of the 80s and child of the 90s, if there’s anything George Michael taught me, it's that you have to have faith. That was the theme for this week's episode of A Number’s Game because Pew Research’s third Religious Landscape Study was released last week.
The Religious Landscape Study (RLS) is one of America's most extensive national studies on religion, with more than 36,900 participants. Pew has also conducted smaller studies over the years to show ongoing trends, but the RLS study shows extensive data on religion in the country.
The first RLS study was in 2007, the second in 2014, and the third began in 2020 but was canceled because of COVID-19. It was finally released last week.
So what did it show?
